I traveled south this summer to capture Sharon & Melissa’s downtown Calgary same-sex wedding. They had a lovely, intimate wedding at Cilantro Restaurant on 17th Street and I am so thrilled they asked me to be a part of it.
We started the day with A first look at the Hotel Arts. It was a lovely moment as the brides got a glimpse of each all done up. We then headed out for some photos in Calgary’s downtown.

Sharon & Melissa had a relaxed ceremony and dinner at the lovely Cilantro restaurant with their closest friends and family. It was a beautiful evening and guests were able to take in the warm summer night as the brides mingled with everyone.
Having known Sharon for several years it was such an honour to capture this truly happy day for her and Melissa. They are a truly incredible couple who are kind, fun and hardworking. They are both an inspiration.
