Angie & Mike traveled all the way from Illinois to be wed amongst Banff’s breathtaking landscapes. Their wedding at The Rimrock Resort Hotel was so romantic and it was an absolute pleasure to be a part of it!

Mike and Angie exchanged hand written notes that morning. It was so touching to see their reaction to the others words!
The couple opted to do photos before the ceremony so we snapped a few on the roof top of the stunning Rimrock Resort.
The day after session
The couple and I had only chatted virtually a couple of times before the wedding. I was excited to finally meet them in person on the big day. I was pleased to find they are one of the most kind and warm twosome I’ve been able to photograph. They also have an incredible sense of humour and are incredibly fun! Each of them was quite relaxed that morning. They were just happy to be enjoying every moment of the awesome day in this spectacular setting.
We met up with Angie & Mike the evening. I had planned to reconnect following their wedding day for a hike up to the lookout over Peyto Lake and an incredible day after session.
The beautiful bride at Peyto Lake. Angie hiked the 30 minute trek in her stunning gown and running shoes of course. She is a pretty amazing gal!
After a beautiful (and windy) roof top wedding and lovely reception the group finished off the night the Diva’s Lounge at the Rimrock Resort.
