I had the immense pleasure of capturing Rosalyn and Marcus’s winter wedding at Little Brick. A winter solstice wedding day. The shortest day of the year and their anniversary, the solstice marks a new chapter, but also another turn around the sun united! What a beautiful and significant date to celebrate. The weather really reminded us that winter is best spent cosy with loved ones, and fittingly, R&M held an intimate ceremony and reception inside Little Brick, the room lit up by warm candlelight, warm embraces, and warm words of celebration.

During the I do’s, the couple incorporated traditional Filipino traditions. Including the placing of the veil and the cord by important family members. After the ceremony and amid warm candlelight, the two families shared a seasonal meal and words of admiration and warmth for the couple.

This couple’s winter wedding at Little Brick feel on the winter solstice which just so happened to be their dating anniversary. It was the perfect date for them. Some couples choose winter wedding because they love that beautiful fresh snow and the twinkle of fairy light, warm hot chocolate and everything that make winter cozy and intimate. We love capturing winter weddings. Be different. Say yes to a December or January wedding and get in touch! We’d love to chat. Here’s another winter wedding that, in spite of the extremely cold weather was absolutely perfect!
