Kirk & Ryan’s Romantic Day. The Same Sex Wedding of the Year!

Words cannot express how amazing and lovely Kirk & Ryan’s wedding day was. From the relaxing atmosphere of the day, to the imitate ceremony and amazing photo session to the incredibly fun reception, the day was nothing short of perfect. These two are an incredible couple and I am so honoured to have been part of their beautiful day.

Despite the obvious excitement, the morning was very relaxed. The grooms got ready separately, with their parents, choosing to do a first look before wedding photos. Their parents were so proud of their sons and excited to see them get married! Finishing touches!

Kirk & Ryan decided to do a first look and I am so glad they did! Nothing beats the excitement and bliss of that moment when a couple sees each other for the first time on their wedding day.

The old fort courtyard at Fort Edmonton Park was such a romantic and unique spot for the intimate ceremony. The I do’s were definitely one of my favourite parts of the day. It was a very personal and emotional ceremony. Ryan and Kirk wrote personalized vows for each other. I love the moments we were able to capture between the two.

The reception was definitely one of the most exciting I have been able to photograph. Everyone was on the dance floor celebrating with the couple and having a good time.
