We found some incredible stripped light coming through the stairs at the Royal Glenora Club. I love finding dramatic light and finding a way to create an interesting portrait. Sarah was the absolute perfect enigmatic model for this idea. This under-the-stairs bridal shot ended up winning two wedding photography awards with both Masters of Wedding Photography as well as a Wedding Photojournalist Association! We also managed to take all the photos on the club ground. Originally, opening in 1961 the bones of the beautiful building recently got a face-lift and it’s a gorgeous update and allows us to find interesting pockets to create unique images.
The couple’s pups also made a quick guest appearance and we got some great photos with them. The thing I enjoyed the most about the day was the relaxed and fun way the couple let the day unfold.
