Wedding at JW Marriott Edmonton Ice District. Keisha & Brandon.

Edmonton Wedding Photographer

I’m giving you all the Keisha & Brandon wedding day goodies today. You’re welcome!

This JW Marriott Edmonton wedding had everything… it was stylish, well planed, elegant, fun and emotional. Keisha got ready at her parents’ beautiful acreage which made for a lovely backdrop for getting ready photos. Keisha also got some photos cuddling with the couple’s beloved pup.

Vendors and Details

Dress: The Bridal Boutique in Edmonton the Designer Is Martina Liana.

Hair and makeup: Kaitlyn Wilson Hair and Estilo Beauty Inc

Planning : “The JW Marriott Provided us with an Event Coordinator, Rishi. I had planned most of it myself but Rishi took care of all the “month of” planning and coordination and set up to allow me to hand over the reins and enjoy the day. Overall the JW Marriott was amazing with everything start to finish and went above and beyond. Brandon and I thrifted all of our gold candlesticks on the tables to compliant our venue while still giving a more antique vibe.”

Bouquet : “I ordered all my bouquets from Etsy, they were a Ukrainian small business which I was happy to support this is a link to the etsy shop

Jewelry: “My Earrings were from Olive and Piper. Necklace was a gift from Brandon from Tiffany & Co. Rings were from King’s Fine Jewellers in Sherwood Park”

The Ceremony

The ceremony was held at a stunning church which incredible woodwork, stained-glass window and moody lighting. I loved watching the huge smile on Keisha and Brandon’s face through the whole ceremony as they stole looks and said their reverent vows. Not only did the couple have a huge smile but so did the family members in attendance.

Keisha & Brandon were married in this stunning old church with these incredible stained glass windows. The warm lighting hitting Keisha’s profile and neck line is my favourite part of this first image!

OH!! And these TWO images just won awards with Wedaward

In Keisha’s words

“I would say one of our favorite moments was after our ceremony finding a spot in the river valley for photos. It was unseasonably warm that day and to be outside with our closest friends with leaves falling, it was beautiful and peaceful especially after the stress of the ceremony and an unexpected highlight of our day.

My advice would be to prioritize your photographer and videographer, make room in your budget for the dream photo/video team you’ve had your eye on from instagram, even if it means cutting back in other areas. I had seen so much of Lauren and Britt (Our Videographer’s)’s portfolio online I knew we would be in good hands. I am so happy how everything turned out.  Our wedding day was over in the blink of an eye but having our photos and videos back we are able to relive the moments with our family and friends, even seeing moments that we missed during the day has been wonderful. Also having a second shooter to capture Brandon’s reaction was great to settle any questions(maybe even disputes) on if Brandon cried while I walked down the aisle. “

The reception at the JW Marriott Edmonton Ice District was the epitome of elegance. The decor was top notch and the party even better. From the grand entrance to ripping up the dance floor. The evening was full of laughter and was a hoot to photograph. I love intimate events too but big weddings have a great, fun energy!
