Kennedy & Travis had a beautiful wedding on the last day of September on the University of Alberta grounds and it was pretty darn awesome! I love photographing intimate wedding, yes, but big wedding have a different vibe and a special place in my heart as a wedding photographer. Give us a full dance floor and we’ll give you some great photos of your guests cutting a rug. This couple’s day was full of really beautiful moments with friends and family: big hugs, lots of good laughter. Also, some tears of joy. Travis couldn’t help it when Kennedy walked down the aisle and you really can’t blame him. Kennedy and Travis also both picked a great group friends to stand up for them. I had an absolute blast capturing this gorgeous, laid-back couple.
The ceremony was held at the Room at the Top. A unique ceremony spot banked with windows all around, and the reception was held at the Dinwoodie Lounge. Both stunning venues on the University of Alberta grounds. Another highlight for me was the decor of the reception that created a lovely moody and unique atmosphere for the celebrations and incorporated the couple personalities. After the ceremony we wandered around the University of Alberta ground, taking advantage of the beautiful fall colours for photos.
