Candace & Brett’s wedding at a A Bear and Bison Inn in Canmore was a dream. This beautiful couple was a dream to work with. Even a major change of plan/ location and a heavy rainfall forecast didn’t get them down! In the end we couldn’t have asked for better weather and the day was perfect from beginning to end!

I love Banff and Canmore weddings!

Photos in the Rocky Mountains
I love the freedom of the rocky mountains. They have a sense of romance that gives a kind of magic to wedding photos.

In the Bride’s words
“After many mental and a few physical changes to our wedding plans because of covid 19. We both knew that we wanted to get married in whatever capacity we could no matter what. We were so lucky to have found A Bear and Bison Inn with a date that worked for us. Worried that this might still turn out to be “not what we had hoped for;” but, this was the farthest thing from the truth. We ended up with the day of our dreams! I know this is cliché but it is the complete truth. The day started out raining. With uncertainty of having an outdoor or indoor ceremony, but it didn’t matter because we were getting married.
We both cherish the time spend getting ready in the morning with our favorite people. I had my mom and “my girls” laughing and visiting with me, and Brett had his “guys”. These are the most important people in our lives and they truly made our day special.
Once all dressed up with preparations complete we were ready for the big moment. “
“One of my favorite parts of my day was the first look with my dad. This ended up being a way more emotional and powerful moment than I thought it would be. This was the moment that I realized I am marrying the man of my dreams, with the people that I love surrounding me. My father daughter first look will be something I remember and cherish for my whole life. Whenever the song “Take My Hand” by Emily Hackett comes on I instantly smile. And I remember every detail of this special moment I was able to share with my dad.”
“Another memorable moment for us, was that the rain stopped and the sun came out feeling like it was there just “for us”. We were able to have the beautiful outdoor ceremony that we always envisioned.”

And I want to be a part of your wedding day in the Rocky Mountains.
