Tamara & James’ wedding at Foundry Room, located in Downtown Edmonton, was a highlight of the season and I’m pleased to share a few favourites from the day!

After Tamara and James said their I do’s with their closest friends and family at the Foundry Room, we hung out in downtown Edmonton for some photos with the couple. We caught the beautiful fall sunset for our last few shots and finished the evening off by celebrating at Woodwork restaurant in the heart of Downtown Edmonton.

A bride in the city!

Tamara and James really wanted a sunset shoot for their wedding photos but it was cloudy all day. Suddenly, just when we needed it the dark clouds broke and gave us this beautiful view! Lucky us!

Tamara and James opted to have a imitate wedding in Downtown Edmonton with about 30 of their closest family and friends. Apart from the obvious reasons relating to pandemic restrictions there are a number of reasons why a mini-wedding is an excellent choice for your special day. For one, because you have your small VIP guest list you are able to spend more time with each person in attendance. A more intimate wedding also gives the day a relaxed and person feels. A small guest list also means you may be able to choose a more interesting venue. For their reception Tamara & James treated their group to a spectacular, gourmet four course meal made by the chef at Woodwork. The cozy restaurant was the perfect space for a small group.
