Cozy campfire evening engagement session at Elk Island Park with Candace & Brett!
I ventured out to Astotin Lake at Elk Island Park with this wonderful couple for some golden hour photos. It was during the first few weeks of winter here in Alberta and was certainly a little nippy. That didn’t bother Candace and Brett who were great at keeping each other warm. We wandered around the lake and enjoyed some beautiful golden hour light. After a lovely sunset, as the last bit of light faded, we finished off a fun evening with a snug fire to warm our toes.
The golden light of winter is magic?! This is why I also recommend shooting our session for close to sunset. To get that beautiful late day light and sunset!
Candace & Brett will be getting married this summer in the mountains. I am so excited to capture their special day!
